Comprised of various members from Christchurch's obscure fringe (MCGOOHANS, SHALLOWS and SCORCHED EARTH POLICY), GAS harkens forth with an effusive hybrid of Nuggets-styled garage psych fused into the miasmic, post industrial rust clamor of Hearthan-era Pere Ubu. These recording date from '96 to '98 and the six-track EP clocks in at 14 minutes flat.
